Soccer Game Preview: Mississinewa vs. Eastbrook

Mississinewa is 1-8-1 against Eastbrook since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eastbrook better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Mississinewa's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Mississinewa really gets things going. The Indians blew past Peru 4-1. Mississinewa haven't had any issues with Peru recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Mississinewa hit Peru with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Makana Brown (2), Da'Kiah Elkins, and Lani Mark.

Meanwhile, Eastbrook kept a clean sheet against South Adams on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Starfires. The result kept Eastbrook happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 16th.

The victory got Eastbrook back to even at 5-5-3. As for Mississinewa, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

Mississinewa beat Eastbrook 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
