Volleyball Recap: Shade Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shade and Windber squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Shade had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Ramblers. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ramblers 25-21 in the first set.

Shade started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-19.

Leading Windber to victory were Amber Dunmyer and Kyra Tomak. Dunmyer had nine digs and four aces, while Tomak had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs Tomak has posted over her last six matchups.

Shade has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Windber, they pushed their record up to 17-7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Shade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Windber, after both having extra time off, they and Berlin Brothersvalley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
