Volleyball Recap: North Branch Broncos vs. Salpointe Catholic Lancers
North Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Salpointe Catholic Lancers.
North Branch's loss came despite strong showings from Addison Franklin and Haley Henry. Franklin had 11 digs and five aces, while Henry had 13 digs and two assists.
Salpointe Catholic can attribute much of their success to Nicole Monge, who had 17 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Monge has posted over her last eight contests.
