Red Land and Gettysburg are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Patriots will head out to square off against the Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Red Land will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Red Land took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Central Dauphin East a 13-0 shutout. The contest marked the Patriots' most dominant victory of the season.

The team relied heavily on Evan Needham, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucas Elder, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Red Land always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Gettysburg might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to Carlisle, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Land moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Gettysburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Red Land might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Gettysburg in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
