Baseball Game Preview: St. Paul Buckaroos vs. Colton Vikings

For the second straight game, St. Paul will face off against Colton. The Buckaroos are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Paul is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, St. Paul got the win against Colton by a conclusive 13-5. The result was nothing new for the Buckaroos, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Colton's part, Malachi Jensen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamison Mcgill Mcgill, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

St. Paul pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Colton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
