 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Emery Spartans had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of  55-45. The  win was familiar territory for Emery who now have six in a row.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emery to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kenadie Maughan, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and ten  rebounds.  Karleigh Stilson was another key contributor,  scoring 13 points along with three  steals.
 Emery is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record  this season. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
 Emery didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest, a  43-41  win vs. Grantsville on the 23rd. Judge Memorial Catholic has also already played their next match, a  45-44  loss against Summit Academy on the 23rd.
