Basketball Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Idalia Wolves

Having just played yesterday, the Eads Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Idalia Wolves at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Eads has given up an average of 54.7 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eads came up short against Cheyenne Wells on Friday, falling 61-36. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Idalia came up short against Haxtun on Friday and fell 60-49.

Eads' loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Idalia, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Eads got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January of 2025 against Idalia by a conclusive 55-29 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
