Softball Recap: Cosby Eagles vs. Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes
Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.
Cosby's record now sits at 0-11. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cosby will face off against Cherokee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they will head out to face off against Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
