After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chandler, Marana was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Rincon/University Rangers by a score of 5-1. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won three in a row.

Marana picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 6-10. As for Rincon/University, their defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marana is set to challenge their familiar foe Sunnyside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rincon/University will square off against rival Tucson High Magnet School at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
