Volleyball Recap: Lone Tree Comes Up Short

Lone Tree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Burlington Grayhounds.

Lone Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Burlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Lone Tree will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on WACO at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Burlington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cascade on the 20th.
