Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Raiders vs. Kent-Meridian Royals + How To Watch

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Kent-Meridian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Auburn Mountainview. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Kent-Meridian beat Beamer 3-1 on Wednesday.

Kent-Meridian was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 15-25, 25-16, 25-22.

The victory got Kent-Meridian back to even at 4-4. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
