On Friday Tristan Mireles posted four points along with eight boards and seven assists. The effort marked the most assists Mireles has had since back in December of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was also his seventh in a row with two or more steals. For the year, he has averaged 13.2 points, 3.2 steals, and 2.9 assists.

Mireles and Kenedy will venture away from home to face off against Woodsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles, probably because Mireles had a solid game then too: he went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points in addition to six steals and five assists.
