Football Game Preview: Waskom Wildcats vs. Cooper Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Waskom Wildcats will take on the Cooper Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waskom knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Cooper likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Waskom strolled past Hawkins with points to spare, taking the game 44-26. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 429th, while the Hawks are ranked 895th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cooper unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 35-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Honey Grove.

Waskom's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cooper, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
