Baseball Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Granada Hills Charter Highlanders

The Cleveland Cavaliers will head out to square off against the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cleveland's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Granada Hills Charter's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Cleveland earned a 4-1 win over Banning. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Pilots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Granada Hills Charter entered their tilt with Palisades on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Dolphins. The Highlanders not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 10-2).

Granada Hills Charter's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-13. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cleveland, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Everything went Cleveland's way against Granada Hills Charter in their previous meeting back in March, as Cleveland made off with a 13-2 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
