Football Recap: Western Brown Takes a Loss

If Western Brown was feeling good fresh off their 42-14 takedown of New Richmond last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos were outmatched by the Clinton-Massie Falcons and fell 37-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Broncos were not able to get on the board.

Deon Bradford threw for 54 yards on five of 12 attempts. Peyton Day was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Justin Morgan rushed for 56 yards on only five carries.

Western Brown's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Clinton-Massie, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Western Brown has already played their next contest, a 49-42 defeat against Goshen on the 24th. As for Clinton-Massie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 56-14 win against Batavia on the 24th.
