Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence Christian). They breezed by the Samson Tigers to the tune of 84-32 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Samson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ben McKenzie dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodi Mock, who posted ten points.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Providence Christian, bringing their record for this year to 19-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Samson, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Providence Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-45 win against Cottonwood on the 17th. As for Samson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 71-68 victory against Geneva County on the 17th.
