Tecumseh gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Erie-Mason Eagles as they made off with an 8-2 win.

Kennedi Fulton looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jessie Wilkinson, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Emma Eldred was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Tecumseh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Erie-Mason only posted an OBP of .250.

Coming up, Tecumseh will head out on the road to challenge Huron at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Erie-Mason, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Morenci at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
