Kaleb Dekens Dazzles in Bradshaw Mountain Victory

Starting off the list is Bradshaw Mountain's Kaleb Dekens, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dekens rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Bradshaw Mountain, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Dekens and Bradshaw Mountain will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Reighns Stokes Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Mingus had to settle for second even though Reighns Stokes put up the best numbers he has all season. Stokes rushed for 176 yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles.

Mingus' defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. Stokes and Mingus will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradshaw Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Sean Hughes Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Sean Hughes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bradshaw Mountain to the win on Friday. Hughes picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 72 yards on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 58 yards.

For the season, Hughes has averaged 15.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 2.5 rushing yards per game.
