Pettus has no trouble against Nixon-Smiley

On Thursday, Pettus made easy work of Nixon-Smiley and carried off a 55-35 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pettus.
Pettus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jocelyn Reyna, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Reyna hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Hayleigh Cruz, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals.
Pettus now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Nixon-Smiley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Yorktown the next time they take the court. Nixon-Smiley will head out to face Yorktown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pettus will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
