High school basketball preseason Top 25 composite rankings

Montverde Academy, Memphis East, Oak Hill Academy lead the way in the initial rankings.

The transition from the gridiron to the hardwood is happening as football playoffs make way for preseason hoops tournaments. With the release of many rankings, we've compiled them to create a composite look at where the basketball elite stand.
Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for
inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40
for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top
25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
Montverde Academy is the No. 1 team in the Composite 25 rankings.
