It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but The Colony ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Creekview Mustangs 3-2. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

German Pulido looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
