Evannie Flores was a major factor in Tucson High Magnet School's win over Marana on Thursday. Flores produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Flores and Tucson High Magnet School have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Corona del Sol at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
