Basketball Game Preview: St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels vs. Airport Jets

St. Mary Catholic Central and Airport are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels are taking a road trip to square off against the Airport Jets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, St. Mary Catholic Central lost to Flat Rock on the road by a 57-42 margin. The Falcons/Kestrels have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Airport scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milan. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

St. Mary Catholic Central didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Airport when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. Will St. Mary Catholic Central repeat their success, or does Airport have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
