Football Game Preview: Clarendon Lions vs. Carlisle Bison

The Clarendon Lions will head out to take on the Carlisle Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarendon has given up an average of 45.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clarendon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Hampton on Friday, falling 38-18.

Meanwhile, Carlisle strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Baptist Prep as they made off with a 27-6 victory. Fans of the Bison have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Carlisle's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Clarendon, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Clarendon was dealt a bruising 46-12 loss at the hands of Carlisle when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lions were down 45-0.
