Dothan has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will host the Godby Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

Dothan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Auburn on Friday. They were outmatched by the Tigers on the road and fell 42-7. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Aj Alexander and Omar Mabson. Mabson had a great game and rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Meanwhile, Alexander did his best for the losing side, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Godby entered their tilt with Fort Walton Beach last Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Lazarus Chambers was his usual excellent self, throwing for 209 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 35 yards. Another player making a difference was Tylan Vickers, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Godby didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rj Perryman and Devin Anderson. Perryman is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played.

Dothan's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5. As for Godby, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
