Soccer Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to four goals the game before, Clovis was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 4-1 to the Piedra Vista Panthers. While losing is never fun, Clovis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Piedra Vista are ranked sixth).

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Piedra Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Clovis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Farmington on the 6th. As for Piedra Vista, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Aztec on the 9th.
