Spartanburg's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Broome Centurions 50-7. With the Vikings ahead 41-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Trenton Lynch went supernova, rushing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 48 receiving yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Zeke Bell-Boyd, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bell-Boyd, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Spartanburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Broome, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Spartanburg will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Broome, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-18 loss against Emerald on the 12th.
