Soccer Recap: Faith Baptist Takes a Loss

If Faith Baptist was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Juniata Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagle lost 8-0 to the Bridgeport Baptist Academy Broncos on Friday. Faith Baptist were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bridgeport Baptist Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2016.

Faith Baptist's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bridgeport Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist will host Faith Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgeport Baptist Academy, they will take on Valley Lutheran at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
