Basketball Recap: Sunset Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Sunset and Southridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sunset had to settle for second. They took a hard 62-47 fall against the Southridge Skyhawks. The Apollos' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Southridge, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Sunset is taking a road trip to square off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th. As for Southridge, they will take on Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
