Coal City has gone 9-1 against Reed-Custer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Coal City Coalers will look to defend their home court against the Reed-Custer Comets at 6:00 p.m.

Coal City is headed into Tuesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were outmatched by Dwight and fell 50-19. The game marked the Coalers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reed-Custer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Peotone by a score of 42-30 on Saturday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Reed-Custer found their leader in sophomore Harlie Liebermann, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Liebermann has posted since back in December of 2024. Alyssa Wollenzien was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.

Reed-Custer's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Coal City, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.
