LifeSpring Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They strolled past the Fletcher Academy Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 49-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-29 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LifeSpring Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dawson Hughes, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Travis Elrod, who put up 13 points.

LifeSpring Academy's record now sits at 7-1. As for Fletcher Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LifeSpring Academy will take on Star Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Golden Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Fletcher Academy and Grace Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
