Softball Preview: Eisenhower Knights vs. Mercyhurst Prep Lakers

For the first time this season, Eisenhower will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Eisenhower is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight games dating back to last season two weeks ago. They lost 16-0 to East Forest/West Forest.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mercyhurst Prep). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over Cathedral Prep on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lakers.

Mercyhurst Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cathedral Prep only posted a batting average of .143.
