Baseball Recap: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Greenway Demons

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greenway Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Edwin Terrazas-Beltran was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. John Lowndes was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Greenway, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.
