Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Monroe + Official Tickets

The Jefferson Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Monroe Cheesemakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jefferson is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of River Valley. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 249th, while River Valley are ranked 107th).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Monroe was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Big Foot finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Monroe's goal came courtesy of Emiliano Torres Enriquez, who's now up to two this season.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. With that draw, Monroe's record moves to 6-6-2.

Jefferson came out on top in a nail-biter against Monroe in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
