Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collinsville). Their defense stepped up to hand the Centralia Orphans a 4-0 shutout on Wednesday. The game was close at halftime, but Collinsville turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

The victory snapped Collinsville's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-9 record. As for Centralia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-3 record this season.
