The Bennington Badgers will take on the Columbus Discoverers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bennington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Bennington will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Norris, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Bennington's defense stepped up to hand Norris a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The game was the first time Bennington have beaten Norris on their pitch since March 21, 2019.

Bennington's one-goal win came courtesy of Claire Miller, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Fremont 4-0 on Thursday. Columbus haven't had any issues with Fremont recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The victory made it two in a row for Bennington and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Columbus, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
