Basketball Recap: Cave Spring Takes a Loss

Cave Spring lost against Blacksburg two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cave Spring Knights were beaten by the Blacksburg Bruins 52-24. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-4.

Cave Spring is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18. As for Blacksburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

Cave Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blacksburg, they and Christiansburg will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
