While Caribou's win against Mount Desert Island wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Trojans 4-3. That's more bragging rights for Caribou, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caribou now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mount Desert Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Caribou will challenge rival Presque Isle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount Desert Island is set to take on their familiar foe Ellsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
