Basketball Recap: Telesis Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Telesis Prep can now relate to. They were dealt a 65-37 loss at the hands of the BASIS - Prescott Coyote on Monday. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-17.

Sam Krasnopolskiy and Karma Daigle certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Krasnopolskiy dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards, while Daigle posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks. Daigle is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Telesis Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for BASIS - Prescott, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As of now, neither Telesis Prep nor the Coyote have any future games scheduled.
