Football Recap: Northview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 28-20 to the Jay Royals. The Chiefs lost against the Royals in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 34-0 score last time.

Caleb Levins threw for 84 yards and one touchdown. Tyson Phifer was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Nate Duffy rushed for 73 yards.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jay, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will challenge Blountstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Jay, they will face off against South Choctaw Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
