Meanwhile, even though Bay City Western scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, Davison still came out on top. Davison took their match against Bay City Western 77-70. Given Davison's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Bay City Western is ranked 261st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Davison, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
