Baseball Recap: Noxubee County Takes a Loss

Noxubee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-1 to McLaurin, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against McLaurin this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-1 loss on Thursday.

Noxubee County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for McLaurin, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

While Noxubee County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
