Basketball Recap: Fruitvale Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Fruitvale won the last time they faced Alba-Golden and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fruitvale Bobcats came out on top against the Alba-Golden Panthers by a score of 41-34.

Fruitvale is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Alba-Golden, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

Fruitvale will square off against Martins Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Martins Mill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Fruitvale likes a good challenge. As for Alba-Golden, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Alba-Golden Panthers face off against the Cross Roads Bobcats at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Alba-Golden is facing Cross Roads at the right time seeing as Cross Roads is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
