Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Melbourne Central Catholic

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was led to victory by Natalie Ruberte and Kilee Whyte. Ruberte had 12 digs, while Whyte had five digs. Ruberte is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 13 games she's played. Sydney Arnold also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.
