Baseball Recap: Nacogdoches' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Nacogdoches won the last time they faced Tyler and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Lions. The Dragons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 12-2).

Connor Brady was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Nacogdoches: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-19 otherwise. Sergio Rubio also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Nacogdoches' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-19. As for Tyler, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-23.

Coincidentally, Nacogdoches and Tyler will both be playing Hallsville the next time they take the field. The Dragons will host the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
