After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Laguna Creek, El Dorado was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Rosemont Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won nine in a row.

While El Dorado won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-19.

Christian Randolph paced El Dorado's offense, picking up 11 kills. Randolph got some help from Leon Valdez and his 31 assists. Finn Hornsby controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

El Dorado's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Rosemont, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, El Dorado and Union Mine will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Cougars are facing the Diamondbacks at the right time seeing as the Diamondbacks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rosemont, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradshaw Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
