Soccer Recap: Old Forge Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Old Forge has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverside Vikings. That's two games in a row now that Old Forge have lost by just one goal.

Old Forge's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Riverside, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Old Forge has already played their next contest (against Blue Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Riverside, they will host Montrose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
