Volleyball Recap: Hays Has No Trouble Against Lehman

Hays had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lehman on Friday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lobos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-18.

Hays had a senior duo take command as Olivia Conway had nine digs and four aces and Gabby Siciliano had 11 digs and two aces. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Siciliano.

Hays' record now sits at 17-18. As for Lehman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hays is set to take on their familiar foe Lockhart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lehman will face off against rival Cedar Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
