Softball Game Preview: National Trail Blazers vs. New Miami Vikings

The National Trail Blazers will head out on the road to square off against the New Miami Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. National Trail has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

National Trail is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Cedarville.

National Trail saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, New Miami came up short against Cincinnati Country Day on Thursday, falling 15-8. The Vikings have struggled against the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

New Miami's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for National Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
