Basketball Recap: Oxford Comes Up Short

Oxford lost against Unionville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oxford Hornets lost to the Unionville Longhorns on the road by a 55-39 margin. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Oxford's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Unionville, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will welcome Octorara Area at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Unionville, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against ASPIRA Charter at 6:45 p.m.
